I've just taken delivery of my 05 Reg 1.2 Eleganza. I'm very happy with it as a whole. There have been a few problems with it though. I found a scratch on the roof, this was taken care of with some Auto Glym resin polish.
Also there's a bit of plastic rattling around in the boot lid. I think it's just a bit that's come of off the boot lid cover. I can't get it out though!
I'll take it back in a few weeks to get the dealership to have a look at it
(And to wait and see if anything else goes wrong....)
I'll put some pictures up when the weather sorts itself out (It's been peeing down all day here..)

I would recommend DBS DESIRA in Bury St Edmunds to anyone on this forum. They have been VERY helpful whilst sorting out the purchase and delivery of the car.
I got a great deal on the car, and the Salesman who brokered the deal (Joe Desira, just tell him Adam Brown sent You:)) was very friendly, and even gave my girlfriend a bunch of flowers!

At last! Enjoy it, hopefully it will be a more postive experience than the Punto was for you. Good man for buying Fiat again. :)

Thanks for all your help. Lets hope nothing else drops off ;)

Are you mad??!! ;)

No, id have a Panda over basic Fabias, because theyre a bit more fun-looking.........But wrong class really, the Renault Modus is a closer rival and i'd definately have the Panda over that thing

I think most people would have a Panda over a Modus ;) Looks a bit odd to me.....

P.S. What colour is your Fabia? I remember you having a bit of a problem trying to figure out what one to go for.

Re your rattly bit in tailgate, it maybe one of the number plate thingys they push into the holes that the screws go into? Had it on mine.

Did you managed to get rid of it? If so, how? I don't want to break anything.....

I've just got back from a 300 mile round trip, and I have to say I'm VERY impressed with the Panda. A lovely car to drive (After I got my seating position sorted) And very nippy as well (And no grinding or squeaking brakes, which is a big bonus) If I could just sort that rattle out in the tailgate, and get hold of a cheap alloy dashboard kit I'd be sorted. Thanks again people :)
