I had an OMP "uprated" paddle style clutch plate (which will fit FIRE models without mods) and a standard Punto GT clutch cover on my Uno when it was running 200lb/ft and 200HP. Never thought about clutch slip. Perhaps just get that clutch plate and take you exisitng clutch cover to a clutch place and say you want harder springs in it, so you will have clamping force.

The previous fellow on here to do this Turbo mod was ShakeyHandMan. He bought a CG motorsport clutch and it was worse than the standard one. He went back to standard and left it. Sounds like he wasn't making as much power as you.

ok cars back from jamsport after the final mapping session and makes around 146-147 BHP. its silky smooth and goes like the proverbial sh*t off a shovel! on course still for doing a few shows with it this year, possibly mitcar next week as planned. Hads to get a custom clutch in the end from CG but it holds the torque well with no slip. With the turbo i have on there you get tractor torque all the way through the gears and the occasional bit of torque steer ofc. Its a bit of an animal to be fair-suprised a fair few on the motorway on the way back from northampton lol

Tbh I can't help but feel that it would have made more sense to just put an Abarth engine and box in and it would have been far easier. Yes I know it's nice having a custom jobbie, but at the end of the day if the standard Abarth engine and box work then why not just use that?
