Tuning new project and lowered pics

am trying to set up a camera to do a decent vid-as soon as the standalone is in will do a nice vid if i can find a co-pilot to hold the camera or a decent way of mounting it. the garage that have done all the work will also be available to others for turbo conversions and also on a few diff makes models. will release their details with final pictures/vids e.t.c.

Looking excellent ! :D

Glad you took my advise, as if Andy's car was anything to go by, it will certainly pin you to your seat on boost from my experience

As per Auto Italia article, the way how it pulled so cleanly, little lag, yet violent boost  you will love it (y)

quick test drive tonight on boost and all mechanical stuff done.......having that much fun suprisingly didnt cost me as much as i thought! its going to be seriously quick-most of the times i couldnt find a great place to open him up-corners always arrive too fast. finishing touches like ecu at end of week, debadging e.t.c. then he's ready to show.

will do a full write up and vids, photos e.t.c and details of who did the work e.t.c. if anyone needs any work done with conversions. For now im off to bed.....meh its only work where's my car keys! lol

so far since its gone in i havent really pushed it hard but put it this way-the mechanic drives an AC cobra and when he took it round the block to check boost was getting to right limit and feeling in gearbox and listen to how it sounded e.t.c. he came back with a huge smile on his face! i think his words describing the engine were 'it was saying to me all the time if you want to go then let's go! ' It goes to jamsport next week and no doubt they'll do a fine job of tuning the nuts off it!

i know its been a bit hap-hazard but will do a full write up on it as soon as its finished and more details about the project e.t.c. easiest way to come see it though will be at the shows and stuff i imagine!

You could have had such a good thread with this project. Far better to write it up, post pics as you go along as then you get to see all the trials and tribulations that comes with such a project.

This could have been one of the most interesting threads on the Panda forum at the moment. Look at Lewey's thread (or maybe even mine on the non-Fiat section) for a bit of inspiration! ;)

I hope you do a great write up and look forward to reading it. (y)

yeah but lewey actually does most the work himself, so he can take pictures and experienced the problems and how to overcome them. Agree with you the build thread could have been much more interesting but its harder when someone else is doing the building. If you weren't there doing it then you can't take photo's etc.

Just make sure you take alot of pictures and vids for us addicts ;)

When we built the track ITR and Megablade, my Dad soon got annoyed when I constantly asked him to stop so I could take another photo!

Perhaps it's different with a workshop where you are paying?
