Is there enough room for a small / medium sized dog such as my English Springer to get in the back of Fiat Panda? The pictures of the car looks like there is but I'd like to know before booking a test drive (I couldn't find a Panda anywhere today on my travels to check). Having said that, I'm not sure they'd want my dog's muddy paws in their boot anyway!

Thanks,

Martin

I imagine if there isnt, you could lower a seat individually, or the whole set of rear seats. A woman does that with her punto near me.

There is enough room for a dog in the boot. I have had a large border collie in the boot several times and he was fine. Just take out the parcel shelf or leave it up so that the dog gets some light. If you pay £50 extra you can get a sliding rear seat so that you can create more room. I don't suggest that you drive to the South of France with a dog in the boot but for shorter distances it is no problem. Alternatively you can fold up the backseat. That creates enough room for a pack of dogs and a fox or two :D If you buy a higher specced Panda the back seats folds in two parts. If that doesn't satisfy your dog than you will have to teach him to navigate so that he can sit in the front (y)
