Hi, I have heard some of you going on about getting a alloy dashboard kit for the Panda. I would like one myself if I get one, how much are they?
Also I would like a leather steering wheel and gear knob, can these be brought as well for a UK spec Panda Eleganza? Thanks again everyone.

from the brio magazine:

leather wheel and gear knob, ref:50900971 £132.35
aluminium effect vent and gearlever kit , ref:71802296 £81.90

personally i think the wheel and gearkit doesnt look all that, but i do like the vent surrounds, and may on an impulse have them fitted at servicing as a treat for mrs t along with the "sports pedals"

If you buy an Eleganza, do you get a leather wheel on that model? Also how do I get hold of the "brio" mag? Thanks again....

it was an optional extra on the eleganza, i cant find the original options list we looked at when we bought the car, however the brio catalogue should be available at any of the fiat dealers, along with a accessories catalogue that is specific to the panda

Hi,

I looked in the options list and it doesn't mention a leather steering wheel. I found the alloy dashboard kit on Ebay. I only paid £16 for it! It is a genuine Fiat part. Although it is called 'aluminium' dashboard kit it actually seems to be made of plastic. In the fitting instructions it says that you have to remove the sleeve around the gearstick. This is not necessary. You can just stick the gearstick surround and air vent surrounds on without removing anything. It is a five minute job. Important is that you fit the gearstick surround the right way round. It fits both ways but it will not stay in place when you fit it wrongly. The side that is marked front has to point to the front of the car.

I've had a look for a "kit" on Ebay, and they haven't got any! Damn, back to the drawing board....
