Think i may have a wheel bearing out on the drivers rear.. Does anybody know if this would still come under warranty to repair? Or is it classed as wear and tear?

Any indications on repair price?

Cheeeeers (y)

Unless it's whanged in a few hundred thousands miles? Hey, maybe it's had a new air filter and has been raced

Think you might struggle on the warranty, but replacement's a straightforward job and best done by a reliable independent garage if the dealer won't play ball.

I had no problem getting a wheel bearing done under warranty by Vauxhall, which was a good thing if you've ever seen the prices for Vectra wheel bearings.

Just had the bearing fixed today, fiat fixed it straight away and under warranty so pretty chuffed with that!

Thanks for advice though x

It seems FIAT have really got their act together when it comes to customer service. I think they have realised by disputing minor warranty claims they are loosing long term customers.

I also have pleasent experience of how FIAT dealers deal with warranty claims but to be fair my car is only 10 months old and I've only had one claim.
