took me 2 days to take off egr 1.3 panda cleaned it like a pin the eml was on and after cleaning if the light is still on light goes of when i pull wires out but would like to know what the problem is ive tried to reset it with proscan on joy could it be the solonoid ? :bang:

Is the code the same still?

Was the egr valve stuck? If not then you may have a different issue. If it is a solenoid you can check the resistance on the coil and also see if there is a short to ground.

If the engine is like the fpt units we fit there are two levels of error reset. it may also clear after a certain number of restarts. (not only start but engine upto working temp)

it's EOBD, its needs to carry out drive cycles and when the ECU is happy the fault is not present it will put the light out (assuming that was the fault in the first place!)

thanks light gone out, still getting no power to starter moter thought it was the spring washer replaced with new one but it still clicks have to turn key a coulpe of times then it starts but i have to take key out of ignition completely
could it be starter? :bang:
