When I put my blowers onto one, the noise isnt so bad, put it onto 2 or 3 and it's a different tale. It's like there is something in there rattling around or catching.
Any ideas?

I suppose there may actually be something in there like a bit of leaf or similar. ours was noisy in speed 1 and good in the others so i took it out and sprayed some teflon oil (gt85) into the motor end.

Cured it for a bit and then it came back so i dismantled the motor completely and cleaned all the contacts. Problem is now i have to do this every 8 months.

To get the motor out you have to remove the glovebox and reach up behind where the heater controls are. There is 1 8mm bolt holding it in, after taking that out the whole motor can be rotated to unclip it.

this is an ongoing problem as there are people on the 500 section of the forum who have had to get the noisy motors replaced.

I have the digital climate, but guess the actual blowers would be the same motor.. the higher speed i select gets very noisy, just thought that was the nature of the car. If it's a rattle or flapping sound i would think a twig or leaf has got in the scuttle panel, you may even be able to see it if it hasn't gone too far back.

Well the car hasnt broken in a few days so it's due back at Fiat anytime soon. I'll get them to look at it!
