Hi all!
Could someone help / link me to somewhere with some information on fitting a cig lighter socket so I can plug my FM transmitter in?
I know on higher spec Panda's its between the Handbrake and the cup holders, but mine (Active 1.1) is a little storage box.
I can't put it in the glovebox as I need to be able to cradle my iPhone in the FM Transmitter (Belkin TuneBase).

Any help greatly appreciated!

Just got a trim adapter for where it should go on higher models and the power socket itself. The basic instructions say connect the plug into a live and a ground. Come someone give me help on this? Don't know where the best place to wire it is

Running a separate feed to the battery with an inline fuse is IMO the way to go.

I can't believe no-one's turned this information into a guide, seen this question a few times now.

If possible I would like it as standard as possible, as the wiring loom is already there. Just need to work out where I can plug it in to. Battery means drilling thru etc.

The mechanics at college had a look at it. The wiring in the centre console (under the blanking plate) is earthed, but not connected to a live. Does anyone know where the end of that wiring is? They jut couldn't find it!

there has been a lot of talk of it not being connected to the fusebox... I'm hoping (as I want to do mine) that its just a case of missing a fuse/relay and not that I have to pull the thing to bits and get the crimping pliers out...

here is a picture of a 100hp fuse box (that I asked for a while ago on here) and my fusebox on the 1.1 Active Eco ... as you can see there are several things missing

I'd had said alot of the things missing are for the gadgets the 100hp will have (Climate, twin speed cooling fan to accomidate the climate, heated door mirrors etc etc).

Running directly from the Battery is really the way forward.
