With the Panda 3 years old tomorrow, it had its first MOT this morning, having covered 74,344 miles. It was due to be done last week but the test centre's gas analyser had broken.

Drum roll...... It passed with no advisories!

The tester said what a 'cracking' car it was - but we all know that already!

Given the high mileage, I am happy and relieved, especially given the expenditure this month on brakes and a clutch

Being an ADI car it really ought to have passed though Its been looked after to the standard that is required by law

This is true but you are still slightly concerned about some of the parts that aren't so obvious.

The car had its second MOT on Monday at 92,500 miles and passed

It did have an advisory however, for excessive play in the OSF ball joint [new part already ordered].

I've got a question for you LMR!
How many sets of disks has your 100HP gone through? I'm at 32k on my 1.2 and it needed disks and pads, i've put near on 7k on mine since i've had it.

Nathan - The orginal front discs were replaced at 73k, together with a second set of pads:

The rear discs are original but the pads were changed just after the first MOT, if my memory serves me right?

Due to another project, I am doing fewer miles at the moment. But given the state of Walsall/Birmingham roads, the car hasn't done too badly
