Just a new little bug I have found in the 870 miles. Sometimes if I am at a junction and I dip the clutch at a funny angle by accident I can feel the steering column moving when I steer.

Has anybody else noticed this little annoyance? I am size 11 feet so I guess it was not designed for anything other than Italian midgets :p

I had the exact same problem (size 10 feet) with my first Panda. After a few weeks I learnt to position my left foot further back and havent touched the column since and that was in 2008. I havent touched the column on the new 100HP as I drive with the same position obviously. Before the Dynamic in 2008 I drove a much bigger car and didnt have to worry about my feet. Although on that car I had the seat all the way back but not all the way back on the Panda.

Just to the right of the column is the body controller. Our car has a metal guard around it to stop big feet hitting the controller/wiring but an early car I stripped a while back didnt have it.

They may not have designed it for big feet but soon tried to modify it a bit to stop any intermittent electrical problems.

its good for gettin rid of a toe itch if you dont wear shoes when driving. i do wear shoes but its just a thought

I get this in the Panda and in my Stilo... only when in boots though (short ass with size 6's to match) was never a problem in my old Nissan though :<
