Hello,
2009 panda dynamic. I pulled the original radio to replace with a JVC radio. the wiring connector is different. Has anyone dealt with this and have advice on either: 1. getting an appropriate adapter...and where. or 2. jumping the wires to fit the connecter that comes with the JVC.

Thank You.

is that why they dont turn off with the ignition then? its irritating tbh that it wont turn on and off with the ignition.

Try Nexxia , above I did what you did but with a Sony. I got the leads from them, it was just plug & play.
I'm not sure if you'll need an ariel adaptor, TBH I can't remember what type the Panda has.
If you want it to turn off with the ignition Nexxia do niffty fuses with a fly wire off them. Find an ignition fed fuse , ferret a wire from the fuse box to the radio & connect it to the switched live input. Simples ;)

Get a correct Fiat to ISO connecter. You'll need to create a feed to the ignition signal feed as Fiat's don't have ignition switched power feeds as standard.

Fiat Panda's (2003 onwards) Use ISO connectors as standard... (found this out when I replaced the stock radio with a better one...)

By ignition signal feed I'm assuming the system where the radio would turn its self on when the ignition is switched on, it would already be wired to the ISO plug, however the system would only work with radios that are capeable to do it (Fiat panda active radios don't support it)

You might need to get an adapter which changes the plug from ISO to JVC's

Fiat wiring also isn't compatible with it (y)

Hence the wiring modification that needed.

I'm gonna finish off this post...answering my own question that I posed...since it is now all finished. Hope it helps any others of you out.

1. I replaced the stock radio on my 2009 Fiat Panda 1.2 Dynamic. single space HU. I am an American living in Spain...so I ordered a JVC KD-R610 radio from Amazon.com and had it shipped over...cost about 110 dollars. The JVC radio has a tuner menu which allows it to be selected for recieving European tuning and proper frequency equalization...that's nice.

2. I purchased a fascia adapter. Didn't need it. The JVC fits perfectly and exactly in the space vacated by the factory radio...using the original fascia.

3. Went to a fiat dealer...asked about the wiring adaptor. The repair guy pulled out of his "box" exactly what I needed. one end fit the fiat wiring...the other fit the JVC. only difference is fader front goes to the back...and back to the front. Nothing else needed. it has both constant 12volt and key on 12 volt wiring already completed. I'm not sure where fiat got the wiring harness...but he gave it to me free....so I'm sure there are others available out there.

4. Need an adaptor for the antenna...available at a car tire place for 3 euro.

5. RAdio is now in and sounds a ton better...with mp3 and usb input.

6. Done.

Final Question: does anybody know if tweeters are available to fit in the empty tweeter spot near the door handles..."Without" making any cutouts to the door panels?

thanks.

Just been looking at replacing head unit on 10 reg 1.1 Active Eco.

Seems to have Parts A, B and C of ISO connected see picture

But none the replacement units I am looking at seem to have Part C. I have pulled it out and it appears to make no difference to anything and looking at the list of connections I can't see why it would. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks
