Its gone to the big tow truck in the sky

On the way to work last Wednesday in my panda 100HP, slid on some black ice and it decided it would like to have an argument with a near dry stone wall... to which the wall won owing to the fact it was backed up by an entire hector of banked field.
The car bounced off deciding that what it really needed was a sun-roof so it decided its best course of action would be to turnover. fortunately for me it missed its mark on the top of the car, hitting the front closer to the passenger side where is skidded. It finally stopped right in the middle of the road on with me on my roof wondering what the hell had just happened.

I really just wanted to show some panda drivers just how strong the car really is! I managed to walk out of it without a scratch! probably more luck than judgement for the roof however when it hit the wall front on there must have been a hell of a force generated as i was driving at approx 45MPH. This was taken care of without the slightest deformation in the cab!

I'm really, really sad to see the car end up like this because it was one hell of a good drive but at least I managed to walk away from it...

Looks like a real nasty one, glad to hear you are ok!

Nice to see the little Panda holding up strongly after such a big impact.

Ouch! Yes, at least you are OK, that's the main thing. Insurance will take care of the wheels.

Ditto As long as you're OK it's fine all is good. Cars can be replaced, people can't.

Condolances on the Panda but glad you're OK.

Also great safety for such a small car.

OUCH!

I know the feeling, mine wasn't nearly as bad but it made mine into a 3 wheeler for a while

Glad you're OK and it's only a car at the end of the day that can be replaced

RIP your Panda

I love that you prefixed this thread as Styling!
Sad that it's been smashed, but it's replaceable.

OK thank you, that was the thing really I walked out without a scratch! All I got was a whiplash based injury to my lower back. I can live with that.

I do keep looking at the photographs, shaking my head and wondering how the hell I got out of it at all.

As I needed another car quite quickly for work, i've had to get something that the dealers had in stock.

I was considering getting a Diesel panda but I thought the dealer was asking too much for it.They also had another 100hp in the showroom. It was black and looked absolutely gorgeous but the dealer, a family friend, wasn't too keen on selling me it saying:

"You've had one lucky escape...

In the end I'm forced to admit I've joined the darkside and bought a grande punto 1.9D sporting. People are telling me that it will be safer, but as I keep saying the Panda did an astonishingly good job

I would buy one like a shot in the future, absolutely loved driving the blue one.
