No major probs so far: solved the squeaky fan, replaced the drop links, boot release has stopped working this winter, and replaced discs and pads twice at front and pads at rear. Replaced all four tyres twice and need to look at again... otherwise, touch wood, fine. Pete

I note that there was no feedback from hmallet's question to Mix - miles or Kilometres? My Jan 2005 Dynamic Multijet has about 188,000 Kms (about 117,500 of the good old Imperial miles) I say about because I would have to ask 'her indoors' what the actual mileage is, I am living and working abroad for the past year, will be here for another six or so months. I keep seeing huge numbers of the classic Panda about here, but always see one of the new type parked near my apartment as I drive to work each morning, same colour as mine - I do miss my Panda ![]() Keep well and keep up the good work on the forum. | Pandatastic! | Re: Who has the highest mileage non-100HP? My 2006 1.1 Active is just about to touch 36,000 miles. Only had her for a year and problems wise I have had 2 new front strut mounts (1 each side - I paid parts and dealer paid labour) and a new steering shaft fitted (under warranty) to solve a knocking/grinding in the steering. MOT next month so fingers crossed nothing else pops up! New set of tires went on about 3000 miles ago (hankook) though the rears were (it would seem) the originals when I bought the car at 27000 miles. They were quickly replaced with cheapies. Must say the hankooks seem to be wearing a lot better and grip much better (and they were only £30 a corner) than the cheapies i bought (silverstone - £23 ea) which were becoming a liability in corners even though they had a decent enough tread left. Just shows, follow the advice on here an spend a few quid extra! First (3rd) service cost about £150 as I got it done at kwik fit and I must say im impressed with the work they did (and it was over £100 cheaper than the dealer price). Car also ran a lot better after they got their hands on it - is this a first for kwik fit? lol.
