Local dealer has located one for me in Derby & wants to either send one of their guys to drive it back or charge me £120 for a truck to bring it here to Blackpool. No option to go collect personally as it's not registered.

I don't really like the thought of one of their guys tear-arseing it down the motorway (n) Does the £120 charge for a truck sound standard ??

:D Another 100 hp in Blackpool, not allowed, theres 3 already.
PS. I would let the dealer collect it and save the 120 sqid. (y)

Well I've been this morning to sign the paperwork, they're paying half the cost of the truck (y)

Rather that than one of their guys driving it like a loon, that'll be my job !!

What colour is yours ?? I've seen a grey one, a white one I think & a learner white one. Mine will be New Orleans Blue, should be ready to pick up Saturday, can't wait :D :slayer:

:D Mines grey and you cant miss it... P100 PUF....

PS. The white one is driven by a vicar.

Well after just over 2 weeks, I've managed just over 1K miles ... and I'm loving every minute of it !! :D Been driving quite gently until now. Any recommendation's for a running-in period although there's non stated ?? I've learned how to drive it with the sport button on all the time now, quite a leap from the 899CC Seicento I had before !!

I do have a few problems however ...

  • Squeaking when cold from the instrument binnacle. Not major, just a little irritating !!
  • Can be a bit crunchy going from 2nd to 3rd gear at lover revs but fine when revving higher ??!
  • Bluetooth system doesn't seem to want to pair with my phone, a Nokia N78, just says something in Italian. Wouldn't pair with the dealer's phone either, says he's gonna contact Fiat techs
  • This is an annoying one ... before I actually took the keys, noticed the rear plate was attached with just 2 screws . Took it back today to be check & yes, straight through the bodywork :bang:. Vehicle was a transfer from another dealership, one I bought it from said it arrived with the plates already on. Had them put a new plate on properly now & for now, they've put silicone sealant where the holes are. I'm no expert but that doesn't feel like a good solution. I'd appreciate advice on this point very much !!

Mine's graunchy from 2nd to 3rd - always has been - complained within a few weeks of getting it. Clutch was dragging so replaced at first annual service but still not right - need to give dealer a gee-up.

My friend had that problem on his Mk2b punto sporting. 1.4 16v 6 speed gearbox. Ended up having to replace the gearbox, luckily it was under dealer wrranty.
