and picked up our 1.2 from the repair shop where the wing, bumper and headlamp had been repaired while we were away in the sun. Repair looks very good, the small split in the bumper was plastic welded and the deformation has gone, the wing was banged out, can't yet spot a colour difference but maybe under a street lamp. Cost to insurers was 770 which didn't seem too awful as bumper and wing had to be resprayed. Repair done by Solus in Leatherhead who are Norwich Union's bodyshop.
Incidentally. loadsa Pandas in Lesvos and in all different colours, white, dark and light blue, olive green which looked rather good in the flesh. Even saw two yellow ones just like ours in convoy and when we waved the Greek delivery drivers waved back - so they must love driving Pandas there too. Also spotted a dark blue one with GB plates on a 08 plate all loaded up. For anyone that doesn't know Lesvos is right over by Turkey about 12 hours on a ferry from Piraeus, I'd love to read a post about that trip. Alas I hired with Hertz and ended up with a 1.2 Corsa, drove just like every other car, no character.
