Hi all, looking to change my car and have had a test drive in a Panda, it was all I hoped it would be except for 1 major downside...the accelerator pedal was too high up for my size 4 1/2 foot couldn't put heel on floor. Has anyone else had this problem?

My wife drives mine and says the same ..but knowing wimin like i do they are just being picky..:p

Thanks for replies. I am having another test drive tomorrow and will play around with the seat to see if that helps hope so as if not my second choice will be a Hyundai i10 but really really want the Panda....

Are you sure you weren't driving it in some weird way? I take it you had flat shoes on. I'm a size 6, never had an issue.

I have size 4 feet and strangely enough don't have a problem... (I never wear heels, prefer Docs and trainers)

Blimey Smurfy you ware bover boots..

Need them right now. House is a building site atm. Very muddy...

I'm very lady-like... Dresses are for weddings and skirts are for Christmas, Lol...

I have very small feet - 5 - the rest of me is pretty diddy too - no trouble in touching floor and pedal at all. The usual problem is the odd angle which feels a strain at first but is something you quickly get used to.

Hi all, Just to reassure you I don't drive in a 'weird way' honest! have been driving for a long time and never had this prob before. Yes I had got flat shoes on but wear these for work anyway. Had another test drive today wasn't as bad as the first time but my foot kept sliding off the end of the pedal my toes are just about 1/2 inch on the pedal with heel on floor....

You're not alone! - we're currently awaiting delivery of our new Panda and my wife's one reservation is that her size 4.5 feet only just touch the accelerator pedal with her heel on the floor - I've promised her that the very first thing I'll do upon delivery is make up a pedal extension to screw to the accelerator - looks easy enough....

Just got one as a courtesy car was the first thing I noticed about it pretty much other than it had a Diseasal engine although after 15 mins of driving don't really notice it now.
