(G) Radio code.

I have had my new Panda for a month or so now, and i noticed the radio code card was missing. i contacted the dealer who claimed i didn't really need it, but i insisted that i still wanted it. 2 weeks on and still waiting.
Surely if the battery is ever disconected for any length of time the code will be needed?

Yep

IIRC the radio code is generated from the VIN number so any Fiat dealer should be able to get it for you provided you can prove you own the car. Failing that, contact Fiat CS who may be able to lean on the dealer...

When I was fitting a towbar on my 100HP and working on the electrics my battery was disconnected for a long time but I didn't need the radiocode when I connected the battery again.

I have disconnected the battery in mine too and didn't need the radio code...
