Not necessarily. When looking for rims, the rims that fit a 100hp will also fit a 1.2, am i right?
Anybody got any pics of 1.2 panda with alloys. My daughter tried some 15's on her mamy but rejected them, I thought they made it look like a 4 x 4. I think she would be happy with a set of standard panda wheels or even a better set of trims just to make it look different. The catologue pics of the mamy are in aubergine, this car is fitted with optonal alloys and looks good, hers is orange with standard trims.:
I think that one of the cases I was talking about.
Arent tires on above photo slightly protrude outside the arches? This can cause road splash&dirt to blemish car sides a lot more that it should.
Well its obvious that they wont care about slight protrusion at MOT. Like they dont care about gazillion of other things - my friends car exhaust recently just fell off (rust), and his car passed MOT fine just before thatVery marginal..you hardly notice it ..and the car passed the MOT fine at one of the toughest station in my area.. they give the back ones a nice bit of camber as well..
Agreed. I also think the Panda is one of those cars which only seems to look good with the OEM rims but that's just my opinion. The maximum sensible size is 15", given that is the biggest wheel fitted by the manufacturer on the 100hp.
Think it will just look wrong if you go for 16s, plus the ride will be more compromised. With that amount of grip (guessing you will get decent tyres) you ought to be able to drive flat out everywhere with a 1.2. It will be no fun handling wise but if it's just looks you are after and you aren't into hammering it into corners then you'll be okay I guess.
I have to say that doesn't work at all!Wonder if my wheels from the Abarth 500 would fit a Panda?
