I have a current Model Panda 4x4 Monster
I have notice that when in 4th or 5th Gear
if i accelerate the engine tends to rev thru...
i think the clutch is slipping .. could this be the case

if so is the clutch adjustable
or can you reccomend a fix

thanks ... MM

As far as I know most clutches are hydraulically actuated with the exception on some 100hp models ..there should be a fluid reservoir on the left hand bulkhead side of your engine bay and a slave cylinder on the top of the gearbox if your car is hydraulic ..bad news is if it is then the clutch is automatically adjusted..:)

The Panda Monster is a diesel... so this is another example of the clutch problems that Panda Multijet owners seem to suffer. It looks like the standard clutch is not up to the job of handling the extra torque the diesel delivers...

As an aside - Monacoman, have you seen the threads about Panda Crosses here in the UK suffering problems with their 4x4 systems? Have you had any such problems with the Monster (which I believe is a Cross with a special black paint job -- and very rare too)

Those threads are here: https://www.fiatforum.com/panda-new/178246-once-again-4x4-not-available.html

... they sure are... thats one of 695 panda monsters about. It does seem though that the clutch is proving a issue for multijets. You'd think though that the cross would have a heavier clutch as with off roading its going to have to take a bit more abuse but maybe its been an oversight on Fiats part...
