Just one of those things I'm afraid. The answer seems to be to to either brake harder or not brake at all

Mine has 6500 miles and has just developed this annoying trait!

On my Panda 4x4 I replaced the front pads and discs 5,000 miles ago and the rear pads 2,000 miles ago. I did the ob myself and spent a lot of time cleaning up all the callipers and sparingly lubricating with Copper grease.
To date all squeaking has disappeared form the braking system.
