your right,
and MG'S, is this not a Fiat site, By the way my wife has an MGF, great car,

But back to the issue, this blasted Fiat bluetooth, did you get a user guide with your car???

It would appear from a few guys i have spoken to that the unit in the fiat is not the very best of units, Basic is the word, my two year old parrot knocked spots off it, I was able to do everything i wanted , all I can do now is take a call, but i have to put up with the radio muting and displaying phone every 3 mins, It would help if I had a user guide, I can voice dial if I take my phone out of my pocket and press steering wheel green button, and then speak the name tag into "wait for it" the phone, not exactly hand free. We need to find out who makes the unit under the dash, then we can go to the manufacturer for details for compatible phones and how to use the darn thing correctly.
Lets face it, have they really made a device for a car that is only as good as a £10 market stall offering, I dont think so, It must be a decent system , I will tare my new car apart this week to check it out, I hope it does not have Fiat stamped on it.

Cheers

the car should come with a bluetooth manual, my first panda didn't and it was a case of guessing the pairing code :p as for the voice dialling it should be spoken handsfree if not then somethings not quite right :)

Hi Guys,
Been on a course away on the big rock, what can I say thanks for the offer Omar and hats off to HP for posting the manual, you are a star.
I will print and read in a min,

I use a sony k750 I which needs the setting take call in handsfree set, other wise when you press the little green button, and speak the name, it is using the mic in the phone, once i made this change in the phone my voice dialing started to work, Happy days, my wife soon got sick of me phoning her, if fact I just think she is sick of me full stop. Buts thats for another forum.
I still get phone coming up and radio muting every 5 mins or so, this is what I hope to find a fix for in the alusive manual. My son reconed it was trying to pair up with passing cars, stupid boy! or has he got something, spend to much on their education and they think they know everything.

Iwill be back to publish every thing there is to know about time, space, and Fial bluetooth soon.

I have to say thanks for the advice posted, i have just paired my nokia 6500 classic within 3mins from this site advice and uploads.

top marks

I know this Post is a good few years old but I'm made up I found it. Been struggling to find out if my HU had bluetooth capability on my 07 plate 100hp. I bought it on Monday, pick it up on Friday and can't wait. I got it from a mitsi garage so they weren't clued up on the Fiat at all. This post has been great, especially the PDF as it doesn't have a radio booklet.

Out of interest has anyone tried pairing a BB8900 Torch and how is it going?

Cheers

It's intriguing how often second-hand buyers find that (at least) one of the manuals is missing. The 100HP came with a full set, including a supplement on the radio, so why/how would anyone loose one?

Going to pick up the car soon, looking forward to hearing the 'crazy' Italian woman!!

She did a fair bit of shouting at first until I did what she wanted & deciphered what she was saying into what she meant, same as any woman really ;)

Connected like a dream & the phones voice tags work through the HU too!

Also adjusted all the user settings on the HU for custom EQ & the sound is very good for a 'standard' HU.

Car drives well, need to check the headlights today, may upgrade to NightVision+ at the weekend. Not sure what else I have planned yet, any little tweaks that really help? Oh, gonna put decent wiper blades too :)

Thanks for this thread. It made life quick and easy associating the iPhone 5 to Bianca, our new-to-us 100hp
