Good Morning Guys and Girls,

Whilst driving to work this morning my odometer flashed all of the journey. The car has only covered 950miles.

As I couldn't find anything in the hand book about this Is there a 1000 miles service due??? Does the MJ's need an oil change at this point.

Or does it indicate something else?

Flashing odometers seem all the rage at the moment; I've seen threads about this in the 500, Bravo and Grande Punto sections (something to do with 'proxy alignment' it seems). You might want to have a look through some of them see if it sounds like the same problem. If so, a trip to your friendly dealer beckons...

Oil is not due for a change until the first service at 12000miles.

Thats what I thought initially but wasn't sure. The car behaved itself last night and this morning so i'll monitor it and take action if it happens again.
