Hey guys, I need help finding the ECU of my Panda 100HP so I can get the codes off it for a possible chip upgrade. I've tried all the obvious places but I cant seem to find it.

Ive just braved the cold! and took a pic of my engine bay, and to the right of the airbox you will see two black and red connectors on a metal block, that is the engine ecu, but ill comfirm this tomorrow for you if you like.

Thank you for that. I'll get the codes off it now. Does anyone know of any more aftermarket ECU chip upgrades?

Nobody can communicate with the Panda 100 ECU at the moment = No re-maps yet.

We have looked at this a while ago and they can't read the ECU and can't write to it. If you read the info properly you will find out what they have done.

I've gone ahead and translated the news item on the Madeno Racing website:

The 1.4 16V 100HP engine is equipped with a hybrid engine management system which can only be optimized through serial communication. For this sports version of the Fiat Panda, the Madeno Racing software engineers were able to develop whole new engine management and communication software. Not only optimizing the ignition and fuel mappings, the "Sport" mode is also reconfigured and the rev. limiter is raised with 200rpm to 7200rpm. Also, the driveability of the 1.4 16V power source is increased, as after the optimization at 2400rpm there's a 12Nm increase in torque.

What's the name of the company who does this upgrade as people who want to do the re-chip can contact them for info etc, Is it really worth doing it..?
