Switch off ESP on 100HP?

Hi,

I'm from France, I've just order the panda 100HP. In France, only ESP version are sold and I know that we can only deactivate ASR...

Do someone know how to switch off ESP temporary? (for more fun )

Thx.

Re: Switch off ESP on 100HP?

Hi Jempe, welcome to the FF. Not sure you are going to be able to switch off the ESP, unless you have a big pair of pliers! As well as invalidating your warranty I think your insurers may take a dim view of it; having ESP as standard and not being able to turn it off presumably reduces the insurance rating. However, you never know, may be someday someone will figure out how to remap the ECU.

Thx for the welcome.

I know that this is not good for the insurance, this is why I want to deactivate temporary. For example when I want to go to a snowy trackday

Snowy track day? Sure you didn't mean to buy a PandaCross instead?

Thus invalidating your insurance anyway. As I'm sure you tell them all about your trackdays when you renew your insurance.

Ok... but I don't understand well why you speak only about my insurance, I didn't ask anything about it.
I created this thread to speak about ESP switch off and not another thing.

thx

I undertand your desire to be able to temporarily switch off this safety device - but just thought you should also think about the implications of your intended actions just in case you do actually find a way of doing it.
