Electronic Manuals

Hello Party People

First off, greetings - my first post. I got me a Panda 2007 4x4. What a wonderful car. Every time fuel costs soar, I smile.

When I found this place, I was looking for service manuals. I found a link at the top page to this electronic manuals site, which I see sells the eLEARN stuff and I have a few questions before I buy which I doubt will be answered truthfully by that site:
(1) Is their stuff legal?
(2) What ver of Windows do I need to open it?
(3) Is it any good?

I sure would appreciate any responses from the knowledgeable folk here.

Greg

Re: Electronic Manuals

Seeing as how no-one responded, either the answers are not known or no one could be bothered or I missed an FAQ (which I doubt)

So, for those searching and finding, some answers:
(1) Dunno about legality.
(2) I was able to install, open and print to a local printer on Win98 and Win2K.
(3) Depends on what info you want but that contained does seem limited or poorly organised (imo, anyways)

Re: Electronic Manuals

I suspect no-one responded as it's not a well trodden path. My own view is that most of this sort of software being sold is illegal copies and it's not worth wasting money on it. If legality isn't a concern, most are available to download for free somewhere on the internet.
