cd changer/ ipod kit

Hi guys,
Tryin to work out wot to do about an ipod adapter kit,
have been searching for days, ive found plenty of info,
but am just confused.
Could someone unravel this piece of string for me?

Right i recently traced and found the sub connections where already in place
(with the addition of a power wire)
and i wondered what the blue plug was for, is it for a cd changer?

i basically want a i pod adapter, and i want to be able to change track/folder using the headunit. What would i need to buy to do this,
is it a dension 100 thingy

do they use the blue plug?

any help would be hot.
cheers

They use the blue plug but not on the back of the headunit. You need to remove the glove box and there is a connecter up behind the airbag control unit.
