Re: 100 HP uneven front tyre wear.

I've never bumped kerbs, hit bumps hard or parked funny, and still the uneven tyre wear set in, on both of the pandas, there must be a design flaw somewhere, never had this problem with my old cinq, and that was probably a much stiffer ride and 13 years old...

Re: 100 HP uneven front tyre wear.

OK, this relates to my Panda 4x4 but different manufacturers tyres produce different front tyre wear patterns.
Original Bridgestones wore more significantly on the outer edges whereas new Hankooks wear more on the inner edges.
Steering geometry not altered between tyres as the excess wear is minimal and the tracking, at least, is within normal limits.
Inner edge wear could be due to driving over a lot of speed cushions.

Which sounds right, there is a whole sequence of them near me but the car was able to zoom right across the middle of them....

Re: 100 HP uneven front tyre wear.

I have wear on the inner edge on the 4x4 panda ..not much in the way of speedbumps round here. I consider it to be a design fault ..or the city power steering booster ?
