I have proven gains on the kit - it was rolling roaded before being fitted AND straight afterwards.

Oh, and re-rolling roaded a few weeks afterwards as well.

Induction kits hardly every produce an increase in performance. It might sound 'faster' but that will be about it. There will not be a significant increase.

Fiatforum members are dealing with facts and not hear say. If you claim this back it up otherwise keep quiet.

You do not even know what an induction kit is.

@ STU:

Got any print-outs of the rolling road test? Besides, how much does it show - performance-wise and where can you feel the gains?

@ TDQ: Been said so a million times. I had a cheap one back (to be honest, just the filter with home-made cold air intake made of foldable pipe) in the days I drove the Citroen AX and must admit, apart from a narrow area of higher RPM (guessing...4000), I didn't like it. I lost some torque in the low RPM and had to take it off in the winter (noticeably better with stock when temperatures were low).

If done right, I certainly believe it can give some "boost", but would like to hear it from the guys that did it (and I know some have).

Cheers

Aah, lovely - I somehow overlooked it!

As far as I can see, the average power increase (looking @ STUs PDF pics from the thread he linked to) seems around 4 hp and the maximum power increase around 10 hp. Now, even if the readings are incorrect, the relations of the measurements aren't (as long as both measurements are made at the same time, one after another).
But what surprises me the most, is that hole @ 5500 RPM, being nicely "patched" with the GSR kit on. I never saw anyone mentioning the problem in the threads before but boy it did bug me! The attachement also shows that going past 6000 RPM makes no sense, which probably many of us realised while driving.
I would love to hear the sound it! Heres how it sounds stock:

BTW - do GSR makes the filters themselves?

Aplogies to all our customers who haven't received their induction kits. We ahd a lot of problems with TNT lately and all the export induction kits had been hanging around there and a lot of the domestic market ones have been affected too.

We are trying to resolve this as quick as possible. As this created a lot more head ache than one would think we might not be able to get them all sorted within the next few days.

Additionally it doesn't help that this just happens during a peak time of new development and dead lines to work for.

We are sorting deals with some new companies and will be back to normal within the next few days.

We also have more work force from Monday with us, which means we can cut the lead times.

Also we can confirm that the induction kits for the Panda 1.1/1.2 for both throttle bodies, GP T-Jet and the 500 1.4 are available now. The GP 1.9 and Stilo 1.9 induction kits are close to finish.

Folks, if your induction kit equipped Pandas sound anything close to this:
