| Re: what options??
Skydomes are very appealing for many and comparatively rare on the 2nd hand market.. therefore might (at consderable cost) make your secondhand Panda more desirable. That said this might be outweighed by a lack of confidence in Fiat's ability to fit something like the skydome without rattles and water getting in after a while...... Climate Control (instead of the aircon pack) is costly and does not include roof rails, but some here wouldn't be without it. Personally, I find the split/slide rear seat massively increases the car's practicality. You can quickly move from the citycar micro-boot to a proper size boot and back again depending on if you have any passengers or not. Well worth the £200. I also splurged out on the ESP, and the extra bags. Which are probably utterly useless if you only assess extras by their resale value. But I wanted the seat height adjust (with bags) and the active safety of ESP plus hillholder: so I got them. I didn't want alloys (ride matters to me more than aesthetics) or skydome (I hate too much light) so I didn't. I didn't want the speaker upgrade... but that's just because I hardly ever want to listen to music. For you it might be the best extra of all. In other words there's no right or wrong answers here - it depends on if you spec a car for future resale or for your own enjoyment. Given that Pandas - any spec - are worth so little anyway after a few years, I think you might as well just get what you most want and can afford! Best deal - read the thread "What did you pay for your Panda" Perhaps the only possible "must have" is aircon, even if you are the sort of person who loves riding around in a mobile sauna. I think it will get increasingly difficult to unload any car in any class if it does not have at least manual air conditioning. And you get the roof rails too...

The speaker upgrade is worth the extra, it doesn't cost much and i regret not getting it now, but i've heard the standard speakers are pretty good anyway. Other than that there are safety features, esp, airbags... depends on how much you want to spend on extras really. Then there are the alloys, personally i couldn't justify £400 for them, the standard wheels look nice enough. Just set yourself a budget and decide whats essential to you. I ordered mine for only around £6700 from fiat supasaver with the extras i listed, you won't get much cheaper than them, but if your lucky a local dealership might match the price...
