hello
ive been looking into fitting remote locking to my girlfriends 2012 panda pop
its already got central locking just kinda annoying wasnt fitted with a remote

anyways was looking at those cheap remote units which use the existing central locking but i would not know the wiring or set of the panda to fit (how the match the wiring to fit the pandas locking system)

another was possibly fit a actuator to the passenger door key lock and work it from there (just disconnected the lock and keep the drivers lock connected just incase) since i know the locks are cable operated over the conventional rod

or if cheap enough a genuine panda remote set up?
and were are the door switches cause i may also fit door/floor

any help would be great thanks

i like the panda really good cars but i normally specify with older nissan/datsuns so they are abit of a foreign territory for me
anyways any help will be great full

Would it not be easier to use a original unit from Fiat. ?
If central locking is in place, you only need the remote ECU and a remote.
It could be as easy by Plug&Play a original unit.

It might not be quite that easy; I don't know about the current model, but on earlier Pandas without remote locking, there's no solenoid in the drivers door, and probably the tailgate release is different also, so there may be additional parts to buy, and wiring to fit.

The drivers door does have a solenoid and the central locking operaters from both passengers and drivers doors
The tail gate is just key only
