No problem with a Panda, 17" will fit just fine.
No doubt with 205 or wider rubber. No good in the wet or snow. 125 will bite through water and snow and leave all those posers with their extremely wide rubber in those conditions. Personally I'd trade off some of the width for better harsh conditions sizes 155 or 165 would be a good compromise.
The 2CV with its thin 125's was brilliant in snow and wet roads....... and stuck in the dry too!!!
