General Replacement Rear Shocks ?

Hi,i posted a while back about poor suspension on our T/A,wheel the rear shock bushings have torn/collapsed both sides,any ideas where to obtain replacements,or is it main dealer only?
Ideally i'd like to buy an upgraded set but dosen't look like they are available.

Many of us on here use the excellent Shop4Parts site and from what I know of your car, you're likely to need a pair of these;

I've not used these specific shocks, but the problem you describe is very common to Pandas (thanks for paying attention Fiat.....) and I used Shop4Parts to supply some decent replacements, which were just that.

It is still strange that there are so little shock absorber choices for the Panda.
For some reason not even brands like Koni, Bilstein, Monroe, and so on seem to have replacements for it.

Yes - the Mk3 had a number of options, even for the 100HP.

The 100HP was the reason there where so many suspension options for the Panda 169, because what fit the 100HP fits on all 169's.
The lack of a sporty model for this Panda is certainly the reason for the lack of suspension alternatives.

Thanks,Ringa.Fitted the shocks as per your recommendation,excellent service from shop4parts.
The Panda now rides better than it's ever done,we have complained to the main dealer since the car was new that it didn't ride like the demo Twinair we test drove,of course the ride was normal,well,it wasn't it is like a different car,to the extent that i think i'm going to replace the front shocks,because i can now actually feel how the car is behaving.
As an aside the garage who fitted them said they had never seen a bushing system like the original shocks & the replacements had what they described as a "normal"bushing system.

Sorry no pics,but the garage re checking the front suspension this week,i'll try & get a pic of the shocks,but of course they are fitted,so not sure how much will be on show.

When the rear wheel is of the car you can see the hole shock.

A picture of that will be perfect.

From the time i lowered this Panda i have noisy rear suspension.

Most irritating are "Plop" sounds under compression, not have been there before lowering.
I have it reinstalled again, but no change.

So, what could that "Plop" sound be, Shocks. ?

No idea, but this has reminded me of Fungus the Bogeyman and his Plop-Up Book. One of my all-time favourite kid's books.
