Now it has been cleared that the new Panda will be introduced in 2019, people start to "Render" the new Panda.

These first renders do not make me happy for what is to come. :(
Don't like it one bit.

The rumor has it that the new Panda could be "Brazilian Mobi" based, like the present Panda is "Brazilian Uno" based.

Looks like a squashed 500L. If what I've read is true (much cheaper price, inferior build quality, driving experience) and so on- will we all say we'd have paid more for better engines and handling. I would. If the 2012 Panda hadn't been so enjoyable to own, not sure what I'd drive instead. The 500 not for me.

The next 500 would also be available as a 5-door i recon, the market ask for it.
The same can be seen with for example the Audi A1 or VW up!, after the introduction of the 5-door, the 3-door numbers dropped considerable.

Can't remember seeing one single rendering that looked the slightest bit like the actual car when it was eventually launched. You should see some of the munters that were *definitely* going to be the Alfa Giulia.

Honestly, When I was a kid I'd go out on my bike and set spiders on fire with a magnifying glass... bloody kids these days all they do is sit in their bedrooms cooking up crappy looking concept cars on their MacBooks the little turds :bang:

Yeah I know I'm a moaning old git blah bloody blah ;)

I don't like it either. Thankfully this is only somebody's guess.

Assuming the Panda is not '500-ised' the other recent fiat is the Tipo, which is also in Fiat's practical line up. They seem to have slapped a vaguely Tipo type face on the front. I don't think it works - much less distinctive.

Fiat should continue with the squircle motif imo. New 3D headlights could emphasise it more.

If you look closely and the door handles and front window pillars, they are way too small and spindly to be Panda scale (unless this is planned to be a big car). This picture is a tarted up 500L with a Tipo grill and some styling down the side.
The windows are definitely off a 500L so just somebodies guess in my opinion.

It's moving away from the fundamental idea of the Panda, no frills cheap reliable tough transport, adding extra technology adds to unreliability and then the car looses character, Fiat have a good balance now, let's not spoil it.

That's why i vote for a Panda Evo. :D
Just upgrade and improve what you already have. ;)

What about a much sportier design for the next Panda. :D
I think that would be a better design for the new Punto. The boxy SUV-like shape with van-like dimensions inside is a Panda in my eyes - making best practical use of that 'footprint'. It's very much function before style. If it becomes too sleek and chic it's not a Panda anymore IMHO.

I'm not agree on that, the differences between the first and present Panda is already day and night differences, so in your terms the present Panda is no Panda anymore. ;)
