General 4X4 what are they like to drive

We got our in September 2016, TA 4x4 and well equipped. We have done about 9400 km since then, and our other car, a Toyota Land Cruiser, is barely used nowadays. We always take the panda, unless all five of us AND our collie is going.

Getting the fuel economy to specs is not possible in everyday use, but that goes for all cars.

My wife's daily routines is driving from home, to the kindergarten and then to work, about 15 km. And then back. It's no problem to get 40-45 mpg on this driving, depending on weather and temperatures. It's colder here, and that makes everything harder to turn, witch in turn burns fuel. The same with studded winter tires. On longer trips 50++ mpg is no problem, and we have been closer to 60 as well. Motorway speeds burns fuel, country roads suits it better economy wise, but the little tough car can handle most things thrown at it.

We are still waiting to see how it will take the age and high mileage, our Land Cruiser is probably in a class of its own, but the first 9400 kms has gone by without a hitch. Seems solid so far, in every way. Good luck.
