Picked up our new 4x4 on Friday. Taken it away to the Cotswolds for a long weekend - really enjoying it!

I was very chuffed that it came with a cool little phone holder that fits in the 'Tomtom' socket on top of the dash. Unlike the Tomtom cradles that I'd seen in the past, this is a generic holder and seems really well designed to holds any smart phone. I've tried my iPhone 5 in it and my friends iPhone 6 Plus - both fit very well. I'll post a photo if anyone wants to see it.

Anyhow, my brother in law has a 500 with the socket in the top of the dash. When he saw our phone holder he wanted one! Where can he get one?? Fiat accessories only seem to sell the Tomtom specific versions.

Any ideas??

The phone holder is part of the 2017 Uconnect system, in stead of the previous Blue & me with TomTom system.
It's relatively new so it could take some time for you can ordered it separately.

Really, really want one of these phone holders. Come on, FIAT, sort yourselves out!

Does it fit in the same socket as the older one, or have they changed the socket? Also does it provide power via a USB connector?
I much prefer Google Maps for navigation over the TomTom but it's awkward to mount and power the phone in the Panda Cross.

The socket is the same, but the new one does not have power so far i understand, that's why there is a USB.

Yep- socket looks the same. Although I've not tried it in the 500. The Panda has a power-only USB socket next to the cradle.

My Panda Cross doesn't have the USB socket, only the TomTom socket
