Hi,

Recently bought a panda 4x4 which has a dodgy centre bearing that will need to be replaced.

I have a quote for reconditioning the prop shaft which seems fine, so I just need to get it out. I have a pair of ramps to get underneath, so any tips, hints or tricks that I should know about on removing the shaft?

Also, has anyone split a shaft before and replaced the bearing themselves?

And another one, can the car be driven without the prop shaft?

and what engine..??

I've not seen any great info on the latest gen of pandas ,
the older 2003 to 2012 seemed to have people scratching around for certain parts..,
