I have a Panda Popular 2013, the latest version I believe with updated dashboard. The light illuminating the heater and fan control isn't working. How do I get behind to change it? I notice posting for earlier version, describing pulling fan knob off etc; is it the same for this latest version? (Posted July 2016). Thanks.

Silly question, but are your headlights on or off? The lights for the fan controls only illuminate when the headlights are on (in mine, anyway).

Yes I know what you mean. On the latest Pandas the front sidelights are on all the time, so there is no sidelight switch, only a headlight switch. So yes, I have the headlights switched on and the engine running. All the other panel lights are on.

Is there any particular setting the knobs need to be on? I removed them on my old panda but they don't seem to budge on my current one.....

I also have the same problem with my 63 panda pop. It was intermittent at first though (could give it a gentle thump to get them on) which leads me to think it's a connection problem, but it is fully dead now and I have just lived with it for a good 6 months roughly.

Got the same problem here too. A quick fingertip tap brings the right hand side heater illumination back to life. (The fan speed/temperature cluster on the left is fine). Could anyone help with how to get at the little lamps inside. I think one might be loose?

Update: I think for the newer model, the knobs cannot be pulled off separately - but if you carefully work a thin blade under the edge of the outer black bezel to tease a gap and then pull hard, that comes away and brings the control dials with it. You will need to take care to not damage the painted trim of the dash though.
