Hi Guys, this new car of mine is becoming a pain in the 'arris !!

This morning went out for a drive. Remembered that one of you kind folks suggested reducing the front tyre pressure slightly to give more feel. Duly reduced by 0.1bar the steering did indeed feel better.

But very shortly after the TPMS yellow light came on, on the centre dashboard.

Checked the tyres and all were at perfect pressure. Then a message came up saying something like "Re-initialise TPMS"

Checked in the handbook; using the "Set" button and scrolling to the TPMS option it says "Re-initialise" - so I press the "Set" button again as if to tell it yes, please re-initialise but the light stays on ?????

What am I doing wrong please?

Just passed by the supplying garage this arvo and they couldn't understand why it was being difficult, but after a connection with their diagnostic kit the light disappeared ???????

With previous Panda it wouldn't let me reset the system, but it did following morning when tyres cold. Mileage I'd done up to when shouted at me was less than 625 mile or 4 weekly checks in handbook. I didn't have puncture so that was happily ruled out (y)

I didn't know I had one of these ( '15 TA 4x4 ) and I've only recently started noticing the icon at ignition . Does it have to be initialised somehow as it's never come on in the year and half I've had the car ?
