I'm not yet an owner of a Panda 2012+ but looking at them. However, I want a version that has bluetooth connectivity so that I can connect my phone and play music through that. I've been looking but I have no idea what the different radio units have in terms of functions.

Hoping a fellow Fiat owner can help me!

The Panda's got a Blue&Me option for Bluetooth, but it can't do music playback with modern phones, only calls. I have an Australian model Easy with it and ended up having to get a separate Bluetooth kit just to play music from my Nexus 5. Might be different with an iPhone? Dunno! You may need a model with an AUX port, at least.

Correct! The current version of Blue&Me only does calls via Bluetooth. And it does it quite well.

Music playback is handled via a USB & Aux port below the gear lever. My lounge came standard with both, plus 6 speakers, which is also very nice. I like using the USB option as it charges my phone while driving too.

An Aux jack can be retrofitted, as far as I know, as the radio head unit is already kitted out for it. Evidently it is a bit of a fiddle but quite doable with the correct parts.

You need a Griffin BlueTrip device. It fits in the 12v socket and needs just a very short 3.5mm audio jack fly-lead to connect the two together. BlueTrip supports A2DP streaming audio from your phone and pumps it straight into the Panda. Simples. But for whatever reason Griffin stopped making these, so you need to typically search US Amazon to find one. Search the Forum (both Panda 2012+ and 500) for Griffin BlueTrip and you'll find more info. I have one and it is completely brilliant.

Thank you guys, I wasn't sure about it and the Danish Fiat site didn't help much. To me it seems a bit weird that such a new car wouldn't have music playback through bluetooth standard. Oh well, I'd be able to live with that, as long as I get an AUX version :)

I'm currently an owner of a Fiat Panda 1,4 from 2006, very happy with it but I'm looking into one of the new ones!

Can't you just fit a radio? Or they connected to the ignition security system?
I've got the basic pop model, After driving the fiat 500 I miss the features of the radio..
its so nice being able to play music and take calls
