Hi, I got this message scrolling across my dash this morning. Typical as the cold weather hits! It says to refer to the handbook but neither the main user manual or the 4x4 supplement seem to mention the error message, any ideas? Just to make life interesting when I press the E L D button I get the "E L D engaged/disengaged" message as usual.
Thanks.

Many examples of the previous model Panda Cross were subject to a recall because of failure of the 4x4 system. The prblem was a faulty electro-pneumatic solenoid. Without 4 wheel drive the ELD didn't work either. I can't remember the warning message but it could well have been ELD not available.

hi,
see if it's still there after a "warm-start", ;)

it could well be - cranking a stone cold engine - that there just not enough electrical power to keep ALL the myriad of sensors happy,

it's probably detected a lower than expected voltage for a few seconds, and therefore logged the "error",

( everday occurence in Grande Punto's)
