I have a twin air easy panda 2012. Just wondered if any one knew how to change the battery. Is it same as any car, i have read somewhere that if you remove the battery it effects the electronics on the car. ie do you need to attach a battery to the positive lead before removing the original battery.
thanks on advance for any help. Also can anyone recommend a good battery for the stop start

Hi,
I take it you're having issues,

1st - I would get a dealer to check it.. should be under warranty..!!

2, you can remove the cables ( Black EARTH 1st..!!) and charge the battery with an "intelligent charger",
see 500 section for several informative threads.

I've recharged my 2013 a few times, works better for a while..,

BIGGEST Hint..- mentioned a poor battery ( NO Stop/Start) when in for an oil change,
they reported 1300 logged error codes..!! = starting engine without seatbelt plugged in..!!,
it was a new one on me.. but apparently a pre-condition of the system working correctly..,

What! That's b***ocks, I never put the belt on before starting. Is this EU rules gone mad?

Hi again i still have not found any info on battery replacement for my twin air. The car goes into stoneacre tomorrow for checks. The battery is not covered on the third year warranty,so i can expect a hefty bill. I will ask the service dept tomorrow for the battery replacement proceedure. If i get it i will post on here.

I don't have the manual with me, but normally I would expect something in their if your electrics were to be messed up. - Can't see it myself, though in my Merc they have TWO batteries. a big one for stop start and a little one for... er something else.
