Rumor has it that it will get, new 3 cylinder multiair engines, new headlight internals and LED DRL's, new grill, and 16" wheels option.

The new 3 cylinder multiAir engines will replace the "TwinAir" and old FIRE 1.2 ltr engines.
What engine volume they will have is unknown (1.0 ltr up to 1.3 ltr) ???
Power range of the new 3 cylinder "TriAir" engines could be from "75 hp" (non turbo) up to "160 hp". (Turbo)

It could be introduced @ the Geneva Auto Salon 2015.
All new Panda is planned for 2018.

Interesting stuff.
Fiat are dropping the TwinAir just as I get one, wonder what's up with it?

I knew about the new mark of panda in 2018, i mentioned in post#47 within my Cross0.9-TwinAir-90hp thread over 4weeks ago now.

I don't think there is something wrong with TA 2 cylinder.
But there are a lot of changes going on within Fiat and cost cutting is one of them.
Fiat engines getting old, especially the FIRE range.
So introducing a all new 3 cylinder MultiAir engine line-up that replace all 1.4 ltr and below engines would cut a lot of costs.
3 cylinder engines are the future, even Audi and Volvo have one now, as do BMW.

Looks more like a "spot the difference" picture.

I agree 3 years is way to wait and it certainly won't stop me buying a new one - infact that's excellent timing, when that one is three years old and ready to trade in a new model awaits!

I had a Charade GTti many moons ago, loved it made a warbling turbine like howl kind of like half a 911. A TriAir makes good sense. Also heard rumours of UniAir diesels which could give the current class leading Volvo's a run for their money.

I wonder if the three cylinder unit is going to be the same one that's in the Fiesta? after all Ford are currently using the Fire engine in the Ka.

I hope not, it won't have UniAir and the reputation of Ford's 3 cylinder exceeds even that of the TwinAir in the "comes nowhere near its EEC mpg stated capabilities". A clean sheet 3 cylinder Fiat design for me. Nice engine the Ford 3 cylinder though but like the TA it's just too much fun to wring it out with obvious economy implications. I do hope we don't get a boring lump such as the one in the VW Up. An engine only economical because there is absolutely no incentive to do much with it beyond switching it on and off.

The Face-lifted/Restyled 2016 Panda could be called "Panda Evo".
It could even be possible that it will get the new GSE 1.0ltr 12v 3 cylinder, as a new base engine.
The 105 hp TwinAir Turbo could be the next step up, engine wise.

Rumor has it, that there are already running camouflage Fiat Panda's around Pomigliano d'Arco (Napels).
The cars have a complete frontal and rear camouflage, according to the rumor.
Pictures are not yet made or not yet put in circulation, but expect them soon.
Further they say there will be new paint colors and new interior.
(most likely the integration of a new multi media unit, like the restyle 500)

Does not look changed at all TBH.
No LED lights, or different lights design.
It also look like no real changes to bumpers.

So what will be new or different. ?

Interior with multimedia Uconnect. ??
New base 1.0ltr 12v 3 cilinder engine. ??
New 105 hp TwinAir Range topping engine. ??

I think most of the changes will be to the interior/infotainment. Perhaps they'll add a few tweaks to the exterior here or there (if not, why camouflage the test vehicle?) but to my mind it still looks quite fresh so I don't mind this.

I'll stick my neck out and say they won't introduce any brand new engines - if they were going to do that then I would have expected them to do so in the facelifted 500... but on the other hand, this is Fiat we're talking about!

The 169 revamp in 2006/7 wasn't much was it? Darker plastic inside(thankfully) and smarter seating material. Though it did come with the 100HP.........maybe there's hope yet.

Wonder what solution they will apply to integrate Uconnect in the Panda Dash.
I think a redesign for the hole dash is needed.
