General Another Panda Cross ordered

General Another Panda Cross ordered

I am in Manchester, the dealer is Corts of Bury. They have two Cross's the yellow demo I test drove and a Red one and plenty of 4x4's, I suppose they have a ready market with people buying from the Penine hill towns.

Whereabouts are you? My local dealer (who claims he doesn't have any unregistered 4x4/Cross TAs showing on his system) is being annoyingly unhelpful about whether other dealers might have some.

Try ringing Thames in Slough. When the 4x4 was launched they put in a huge order (several of each colour ready for prospective customers - I saw the order screen and there were loads!!) and were the first to be able to show me an orange one because of this. They are big enough to have done something similar for the Cross & I'd guess they have some already sitting there unregistered or waiting at the docks!

Still 16 although salesman says his system isn't live:confused:

The orders appeared to update in batches when I worked at a dealer so several would jump up the status codes overnight. It might be that your Panda is now higher than status 16 but the system hasn't updated - it could just jump one (sometimes two) codes sometime in the next few days.

Re: Another Panda Cross ordered (and delivered!(

Evening all. Someone put on the thread about how they are selling in Europe well I can let you know they are pretty popular here in Switzerland.
I ordered mine mid november and got it about 3 weeks later after hassling the dealer a few times a week! He even lent me the Demo version he had at the dealership till my new one came. Delighted to say delivered on Monday and had it a week now. LOVE IT. You will all not be disappointed its an epic car.
Deom was the red one, lots of looks, and nice comments, etc. Went for the black though and again less stares from girls but blokes seem to give it a second glance, of that looks an alright car.
Any questions ask away and I will see if I can help

They're advertising the Cross online too - it appears to have replaced the standard 4x4 online and newspaper adverts that they had been running.

They've also been doing billboard and online advertising of the 500 and online ads of the 500L lately. Only the 500 seems to get TV ads though - the Panda hasn't had anything much on TV since launch, though the 500L did sponsor 'One Born Every Minute' on Channel 4.

Still on 16(n)

What a long labour your having...
Must be a big boy ur getting

My Cross is still missing!
If anyone sees a lonely red cross parked outside a dealership that the dealership shouldnt have or doesn't even know its there, please hand it into to lost & found.
Status 60 but the car ain't at my dealer!
Fun & Games ahead...

I'm very jealous of you guys all getting a nice new Cross.

I think they look fabulous. Apparently Honest John gave it a good mention in the Saturday Telegraph. He's one motoring journalist who DOES know his cars (y)

The Cross is so nice looking as well - now if they'd just do an auto, with panoramic roof, I'd find an excuse to slot one into the drive next to the 4x4 :)

hi & welcome
It was me, Bundes, that posted about how sales are going in Europe but especially in the Countries of the Alps. So thanks for that.

So what did u go for, TwinAir or Diesel?
If a TwinAir, please find the thread called TwinAir Panda Cross Owners List & Photos and get your Cross in it, our first European Cross, with a nice photo(s) please. In snow would be amazing!!!
If diesel, please find my above thread, copy it by starting a thread for the diesel cross, that would be awesome.?

I like ur comments about the red and black.
Glad i went for red now.
May have to shave more often?

Did u go for many options?
Was it a factory order? 3 weeks sounds like a pre-made car ready and waiting for someone to want & buy it. Amazing anyhow.

My cross was built on the 19nov and I still don't have it. Its in the UK and was on its way to Scotland but never made it & now its missing!
I think Arnold Clark are playing games with it. Maybe taking photos for their website, maybe my Red Panda Cross is becoming an Internet Star. Arnold.C have only had Yellow Demos up til now (I think). As with most Models, best take pictures when they are young, before they get a little rough around the edges, fade and go a bit flakey.:p
But seriously, no one knows where it is at the moment.

Looking forward to seeing some action photos of your Black Panda Cross passing other cars stuck in the snow as the male snowboarders? watch you go by.

Well, I ordered my new cross on 1 Nov (Yellow - yes, I know, I know...) with heated windscreen, fold down front seat, spare tyre....
Dealer told me last week ( only after I chivvied him) that mine is now at 40, so it's in Blighty.

Sooooo exited! Only problem will be waving bye bye to my old cross - really am very attached to it

I have a can can red panda easy and it looks very smart when washed, however the plastic bumpers door handles etc turn grey very quickly, and i use olive oil on all the plastic parts. It comes up better than any of the car accesories that claim to restore a factory shine. The olive oil does not wash off or streak in the rain and stays black for a long time hope this helps

I use olive oil on all of the plastic parts on my can can red panda easy.it comes up great and does not streak or wash of in the rain,it works better than the products that you can buy that are supposed to restore a factory finish and it is much cheaper to use ase you only need a small amount for each application

Me too, lack of sunroof moving me towards the Jeep renegade next time. Well, its still a fiat underneath and made in Italy!

Due to pick up my yellow peril next Monday, all being well.

Do you want me to post a photo when I get it?

:D
