General Best deals on 4x4

when I spoke to the fiat UK bloke a couple of weeks ago he was unable to shed any light on what the October start deals were going to be, as you say, were a little closer now so maybe.

Sorry, I got Hartwell's price wrong

it's actually £10995. Still not shifted,
so someone make them an offer!

Ah ha - see 'Welcome to your world' post. Not much haggling room, but a fair trade in. Loving it...

hi guys, hope you can guide me
ive never bought a new car before, so how do you go about getting the best deal? ie what do you say, do you ask them to throw in certain things, or reduce the price, im looking at getting the panda trek, but with all the extras i want the price is around 13,500 be kinda nice to get some off of this

its so annoying as im a nurse but no longer work for the NHS otherwise i could have looked into the privileged scheme

thanks

Just join the Institute of Advanced Motoring for £32 and you qualify for the Privilege scheme and get £3250 off. You can also claim the discount if you have a family member who belongs to the IAM. :)

I think being a former policeman counts, retired that is. A sacked/corrupt/disgraced PC/WPC might be a different story.
As you are a former NHS Employee, I think u just qualify. Bargains are heading your way. Is that better Mr lawyer.

well i am still a nurse and belong to my nursing union [who unfort are doing corsa as an offer] but i now work in the private sector. with these PS is it the salesman who decides if you get them....if so showing my Royal college of nursing card might work....or not????

I think being an ex policeman counts, retired that is. Sacked might be a different story.
So u being a ex nurse, I think ur entitled!!! Bargains are heading your way

Sorry my friend, use of the word "So" here is what we lawyers call a non sequitur! There's a subtle but important difference between being an ex-policeman and an ex-nurse, in this context.

This is the list of organisations that qualify for the privilege scheme discounts. Police Federation members also qualify, and their family members.

That's something different, it's not a list of Affinity Scheme organisations. Amongst others, the NHS, Fiat Motor Club, and CSMA are not mentioned - they all have live Affinity & Privilege schemes. (y)
