General So, will i get use to a TwinAir 85.

I like the new Panda, but the TA 85 is still keeping me from changing.
I want improve performance compare to my tuned 79 hp Panda 169 1.2 ltr.
A heavier 312 with 1.2 ltr does not do the trick IMHO.
Tuning wise, only turbo-ing the 1.2 ltr would bring more performance.
Have my sight on a black TA 85 Lounge.

should be a good fun car - but maybe not as reliable over it's lifetime,

The twin air takes around 4 weeks I reckon to fully get the best out of it driving style wise. We know you didn't get on with your 1st test drives but if you can get over the hump, you'll find it's a rewarding drive.

First hump will be to get a financial agrement for the trade in on the 169.
My matte black Lancia Delta HF Integrale wheels will move to the new one for certain.
They can keep the wheels shown in the picture.

I think better wheels and tyres are a good idea, I've started chucking my Black TA Panda about a bit now is has nearly 7000 miles on the clock.

It's got plenty of go, but the grip levels don't really match the speed capability if you see what I mean.

It sort of understeers / just plain 4 wheel slides across the surface!

It's great fun though

6x15" wheels with 195/50R15" summer tires + 12mm spacer all around and H&R -30mm sport springs are a certainty, if/when i buy the car.
My 169 does very well with these changes, so will the 312 i reckon.

A set of H&R spring would improve the handling a lot.

I think a 85 TwinAir Turbo could easaly reach 130 hp with a Hybrid turbo, meaning:

With the following specific optimizations applied

State-of-the-art “Extended Tip” compressor wheel
5-axis CNC Re-profiled compressor housing and backplate
5-axis CNC Re-profiled turbine housing
Special turbine wheel
Optimized clearances
Modified actuator
Uprated bearing
Superior Balancing (less than 0.05gmm)

First changes will be, Novitec lowered and Black 16" wheels.

Played around with Photoshop.
Made the wheels dark and gave it a virtual lowering.
IMHO, it looks already 10X better with the lowering and without the silver wheels.
