I suspect this would slaughter 500 sales, especially if it was few hundred quid cheaper, so it will never happen.
I don't see why a less practical 3 door panda that looks essentially like the 5 door would have any effect on 500 sales.
I don't think people buy the 500 for the 3 doors, they buy it for the looks.
In the UK, panda is substantially cheaper after discount etc than the 500, yet 500 outsells it by an enormous amount.

I would still have a 5 door panda rather than 3 because those 2 back doors to me act as side doors so you don't have to reach from the back of the car
