Hey everyone, recently bought and installed the 'MA'. fitting was easy and everything went successfully.

I have a few questions though, I can't seem to get a plain old memory stick full of music to play from the 'MA'. Now I have read the user manual and followed the instructions and it basically says it will index your music on the memory stick and you can play through them song by song and skip between folders and such. so I organised my music on the stick that it was just 'there' in no folders just sitting on the stick and I have tried many ways of organising the music to make it work but it just makes the little activity led light up on the usb stick and nothing appears on the screen other than 'Ext. media

has any one else put one of these in there little panda yet and could give me any advice? no amount of google fu can give the answers and the user manual is just too ambiguous to get an answer out of.

Oh and I have a Panda TA lounge with out Blue & Me

P.s My first post, please be gentle!

Hi,

I can't really help you with your problem, but you said that you successfully installed the media adapter... That means you managed to remove the original radio... How did you do it?
I want to install a similar device but I can't seem to get the radio out.
Can you help me?

Yeah mate its really straight forward. Just get yourself some bog-standard euro fit radio removal keys ( the 2 pronged fork ones, I'm sure you know what I mean ) and literally just just bend them so you can push them into the 2 holes available, wait for a kind of click and gently pull out! most cars will use all 4 prongs but the panda only needs 2. Just be careful when you pull it out not to scratch any of the glossy dash as its pretty soft around the edges. Some of the plugs on the back of the radio are pretty stiff too, so just watch what you're doing mate. Good luck

Oh just seen that you're not too sure what tool you need, I'll link a picture
