Very alarming as why www.aol.co.uk has voted the new Panda as to be the worst vehicle to own. I am very curious to know on what basis was this vehicle given such a low rating given it was lauch in 2012 only?

Personally, I find surveys like this one singularly useless when choosing
a car. Several of my friends have a Honda Jazz, a car which always
seems to do well in all surveys, but I rejected it as being dull to drive
and lacking in character :(

On the other hand, my car use is highly abnormal, given that I travel
mainly by bicycle (often folding) combined with trains or buses, only
using my Panda for trips where other modes are unfeasible or awkward!

I also find the low score for the Alfa Mito strange, I was very pleased
with mine, only swapping because I needed a 5-door car. That Mito
sold off Hartwells forecourt within a few days of my p/x deal

I agree. These surveys are total rubbish. Usually the people who can be bothered to respond to this kind of survey are the o es with an axe to grind. Best ignored IMHO...... :)

Lol, great result for the FIAT group there then! Even the bloody KA is a FIAT as well, haha!

Same old stuff every year isn't it. Still, at least the AOL article mentions the fact that it only needs 50 questionnaires to be completed in order for a model to be counted. That is a pretty major flaw.

However - I do feel that FIAT could do with sharpening up their after sales. My personal experience in four years of ownership is that the after sales side of things is pretty much non-existent. I've completed several questionnaires in the past and said that I would be happy to be contacted, but no-one ever did.

Also, according to the last survey I did, my dealership was (apparently) supposed to contact me after our car's service to confirm all was OK. They never did.

It doesn't bother me all that much to be fair, but it's a small thing that could make a big difference, particularly in terms of getting the grumpy ones onside!:D

The non-Fiat car in the list and bottom performer is the Chevrolet Spark.

I have one of those and after 34k miles it's the only car I've had that has never been back to the dealer for any work at all.

So yeah. Only moany whiny people fill in surveys.

It's a load of rubbish as all these surveys usually are. And if my experience of AOL is anything to go by, they need to get their own house in order first before criticizing others! lol!

My Panda T/A is the best car I've owned by a mile. Just a couple of niggles which Fiat and the dealer have taken seriously and will be fixed on Friday - otherwise probably the most engaging car I've driven in a long time - if ever!
