Managed to get a great deal and on the low rate PCP so about to order a TA Lounge..

Couple of questions:

Does the height adjustable seat lower it more than standard.

Are there any must have options for resale value? I'm tempted by techno pack but my iphone does a good job as a satnav and hardly ever use Bluetooth.

I've no idea about residuals but I miss Bluetooth and MP3 USB plug-in capabilities when it's not there. It's the first thing I always check the car has.

For what they charge for it, I'd always make sure it's on the car. As time goes by more and more people just want to have the phone connect to the car without thinking about it.

I don't tend to make calls in the car but it's good for emergencies or just to answer a call and say I'm driving but I'll speak later.

Makes sense. I'm now keen on a trekking and that has Bluetooth as standard...

Phone stuff doesn't interest me, but a heated windscreen would sell a used one to me easily & it doesn't cost much either as an added bonus. Wish the mk2 Panda's had heated screens (or just heat in some cases!). (y)

Yes, but most people these days want Bluetooth and media connections as standard, and by the time any new car comes onto the market as second hand in a few years time the lack of Bluetooth etc. will make it look very cruddy. When buying new it pays to be aware of what the market wants as well as what we want ourselves. Parking sensors are a must too.

A/C, Bluetooth, media, metallic (or white): these are increasingly seen to be essential. Cruise control is in there too, so be aware. Heated screens and seats are nice, but not yet quite in the same league.

Only thinking of residuals ;)

Hi Ralf

Just checked on ours, yes its definately lower at full down position. As well as going down, the seat base tilts back so it maybe even lower at the back.

At the position of the handbrake button, the drivers seat is lower than the passenger seat by the thickeness of the handbrake paddle, so around 30mm

Vic

No, the whole seat lowers. It's not a vertical action though, raising the seat also brings it forward a little, probably to reduce the lever effort needed.

Are Fiat dealers able to get anywhere near Fiatsupasaver prices on the Panda? eg, £7,695 for the 1.2 Easy.

Not sure if this one is still available any more? The car I assume you're referring to is £8,695 now on their site, doesn't seem a fantastic deal for a 61 plate IMO. The 62 plate Pop with extras at £6,495 seems an utter bargain though!

As deeyup says, you just have to speak to your dealer to find out what they can offer. The whole range has got a minimum of a grand off at the moment, but this is tempered slightly by the fact that they don't make any contribution to the deposit any more (it was £500 when we got ours).

No, not that one, that's a 'special offer'. Click on 'Showroom', then 'New Panda 2012'.

Didn't know about the grand off offer.
